TEHRI DAM
Tehri Dam is the highest dam in India . It is part of the Tehri Dam & Hydro Power Project (the multi-purpose river valley project) taken up for construction on River Bhagirathi to tap its vast potential for irrigation and hydro-electric purposes.


Surkanda Devi Temple
Surkanda Devi Temple is a part of the 51 holy Shakti Peeth of India and forms a triangle with the two other temples of Chandrabadani and Kunjapuri. this Temple is the highest point in the area, located at a height of 3021 mt on the top of a hill.
Khatling Glacier
Khatling glacier is known for his high, calm and beautiful hills. It is for a good trekking experience,The trek for Khatling glacier starts from Ghuttu, a place about 62 kms. from Tehri. The total distance of this route is about 45 Km.


Chandrabadni Temple
Chandrabadni Temple is a one of the Shakti Peeths and holy shrine of Goddess Sati. It is located on the top of Chandrakoot mountain.As per the Hindu mythology, the torso of the Goddess Sati fell here when Lord Shiva was carrying her burnt body. It is believed that her weapons are also scattered over this place.

It is situated at a height of 2903 m.The Sem Mukhem Nagraja or the temple of the king of snakes is one of the famous Nagatirthas or snake pilgrimage sites in the whole of Indian sub continent.
